The most: Yayoi Kusama at the New York Botanical Garden
Who was not fascinated or felt as if they entered wonderland (but psychedelic) when seeing some work by Yayoi Kusama or the exhibition “Infinite Obsession” at the Tamayo Museum in 2014 …? Now we can experience the wonderful universe of dots of the Japanese artist in all its splendor surrounded by one of its greatest inspirations: plants. The most: MoMA makes its online art courses free throughout 2021
Are there better teachers to learn about contemporary art than the artists and curators at MoMA? These days of isolation are an excellent opportunity to take online courses and learn in depth about the topics that interest us most. Least: New Zealand may be closed for the rest of the year
“For travel to restart, we need one of two things,” Ardern said. “We need the confidence that being vaccinated means that COVID-19 is not being transmitted to other people or that we need enough of our population to be vaccinated and protected so that people can safely re-enter New Zealand. Both possibilities will take some time, ”Jacinda Ardern, New Zealand’s prime minister, said in a Press conference. However, the island may approve the use of the Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine starting next week, although the first vaccines are due to arrive in the country by the end of the first trimester. Mass immunization is not expected to begin until mid-year, so New Zealand may not open its borders until late 2021.
The least: the complicated return of mass tourism in Europe
What once turned the European continent into a single destination, could become what stops the recovery of tourism on the continent. European geopolitical conditions gave rise to crossing from one country to another without major problem, however, according to a study published by Skift, the 44 countries could have 44 different ways of receiving tourists in times of pandemic, which could mean a logistics problem, especially for those who are part of the European Union. Here you can read the full report.
