The thieves were obviously very determined. On Wednesday February 3, at around 2 a.m., two men hoped to rob a house near Avenue Jean-Rieux in Toulouse. The two climbers entered the garden, before finding themselves in front of the door of the apartment.
When they pressed the handle, the door opened, it was not locked! The duo certainly believed the case was looking good … until a hound arrived in their direction. The dog, who sensed danger, put the two intruders to flight. They managed to escape the bites and returned to the street.
They decide to “roll” cars
Disappointed that their operation had failed, the suspects fell back on three vehicles parked nearby. They smashed windows before grabbing all the items inside, including a cell phone, shoes and a bag.
A crew from the city center specialized field brigade was passing through the area. They quickly challenged the two young adults, aged 18 and 19. After their hearings, these two men were referred to the Toulouse prosecutor’s office, they will be tried in the context of an immediate appearance in the criminal court.
