JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Politicians Democratic party Rachland Nashidik denying himself had slandered Marzuki Alie involved in the movement to take over the leadership of the party which is now led by Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono ( AHY).
According to Rachland, Marzuki Alie’s statement was a wrong address if it was addressed to him.
“Marzuki Alie’s accusation that I slandered him for being involved in the takeover of the Democratic Party’s leadership was wrongly addressed,” Rachland said in a written statement, Friday (5/2/2021).

According to Rachland, the name Marzuki Alie was actually mentioned explicitly by his own colleagues in a press conference on February 2, 2021.
Rachland said that Marzuki Alie was actually named by a number of Democratic Party cadres who were suspected of being involved in the meeting with Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko.
“The name Marzuki Alie was explicitly mentioned by her friends at a press conference on February 2 as one of the four factions that met in a desire to make Moeldoko Ketum a party through an illegal KLB,” said Rachland.
“This confirms the party’s findings obtained from the investigation and testimony,” he said.

Therefore, Rachland admitted that he needed to continue the findings on the basis of meeting transparency.
In addition, he added, these findings need to be continued to prevent slander and prejudice against other cadres from being involved.
However, Rachland also emphasized that he noted Marzuki Alie’s wishes regarding sanctions against those who mentioned their names being involved in the movement.
“I took notes and will convey to the party leadership Pak Marzuki’s wish that those who mention his name need to be sanctioned,” he said.

Previously, former Democratic Party Secretary General Marzuki Alie dismissed accusations that he was involved in trying to seize the leadership of the Democratic Party from Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY).
In fact, he challenged the parties who accused him to prove the accusation.
“Just prove it, but if you can’t prove it, there must also be sanctions,” said Marzuki when contacted, Tuesday (2/2/2021).
He said that when the allegations were not substantiated, the parties accusing him must resign from the party.
“They should resign because they have slander,” he said.
The former chairman of the DPR also admitted that he did not know the Democrat Party politician Rachland Nashidik who said Marzuki’s name was involved in the ‘coup’ attempt within the Democratic Party.
“Don’t know Rachland Sidik,” he said.
