Twitter suspended Vox account for seven days for incitement to hatred
Vox had launched a campaign linking massive and illegal immigration to violence
Those of Abascal qualify as “censorship” and denounce “the unjustified arrest” of his profile on the network

Vox has recovered its official Twitter account this Thursday, a week after the social network limited its functions for incitement to hatred, criticizing this “unjustified arrest“and reaffirming his complaint about the link between violence and massive and illegal immigration.
–
The training led by Santiago Abascal has recovered the full functionality of the account around 8:00 p.m. this Thursday, launching a campaign under the slogan ‘Vox is unstoppable’, which in just over two hours has become a trend on Twitter with more than 21,000 messages.
–
The microblogging network has limited for a week Vox account features for a framed message in the ‘Stop Islamization’ campaign that he launched to denounce political parties for having promoted “the dangerous Islamization of Catalonia”.
–
“They represent approximately 0.2% and are responsible for 93% of the complaints. The majority come from the Maghreb. It is Catalonia that is leaving the unanimous indolence and complicity with the imported crime. Only Vox remains “, specifically points out the message that has motivated the social network to have limited “temporarily” some of its functions.

“Arrest in full Catalan campaign”
After recovering his account, the training led by Santiago Abascal has denounced this “unjustified arrest” and the “censorship” by Twitter Spain of the “third party” of Spain by number of seats “in the middle of the electoral campaign” for the Catalan elections on February 14.
–
Vox recently filed a complaint against Twitter and its person in charge in Spain, Nathalie Picquot, for violating her freedom of expression in an electoral period and thus causing “serious damage to her image and against her ability to disseminate her program for the Catalan elections, in addition to violating her right to honor the “falsely” charging you with a hate crime.
–
“We will continue to think the same and we will continue defending the interests of the Spanish,” Vox has reaffirmed in one of its first messages after recovering his account. “We will continue defending the Spanish, and denouncing the violence and insecurity in the streets caused by massive and illegal immigration,” the Parliamentary Group has abounded in Congress.
–
Along these lines, Vox has denounced the “technological oligarchies of the globalists” for “censoring” the training account. “The technological giants try to gag us and interfere in our campaign, but they will go wrong. The Spanish are going to teach these oligarchies a lesson”, has written the account of Vox Europe.

More friction between Vox and Twitter
Vox already denounced in January 2020 the blocking of his account after a ‘scuffle’ between Vox and the PSOE spokesperson in Congress, Adriana Lastra, for a message that the Santiago Abascal party finally withdrew to recover his account.
–
“They do not support the LGTBI collective, they do not support marriage between people of the same sex, they do not support equality between women and men, they do not support that their backward ideas are not those of the entire society,” the socialist leader denounced.
–
“What we cannot bear is that you come into our house and tell us how we have to live and how we have to educate our children. And even less so that with public money you promote pedophilia “, answered the official Vox account, which is managed by its head of Communication, deputy Manuel Mariscal.
–
Twitter then explained that this comment violated its policy on hate speech and therefore, to unblock the Vox account, it only had to delete the “offensive” tweet. So, Twitter defended that it is an “impartial” company and does not engage in “prejudice or political bias” of any kind. “We apply the rules of Twitter dispassionately and equally for all users, regardless of their origin or political affiliation,” argued the social network.
–
Vox finally deleted the message that generated the controversy and recovered the functioning of his account.
