The new instagram feature that they just announced, will allow you to review and restore recently deleted content in the application. With the functionality called “Recently Deleted Menet” (Recently DeletedYou will be able to view and restore what you deleted, including photos, videos, reels, IGTV videos, and stories.
With this announcement, it is clear that Instagram wants to give people the opportunity to preserve their content before permanently removing it. The application already offers an archive, to keep the publications without being publicly available.
New Instagram feature helps you recover deleted content
The functionality introduced by Instagram is reminiscent of a feature in the iOS Photos app that does exactly the same thing. That is, all the content you delete will go to a folder, also called Recently Deleted. They will be stored there for 30 days, and after that time has elapsed they will be automatically deleted.
In the same way, Items deleted on Instagram from now on will remain in the folder for 30 days. And, if they are not touched, they will be automatically deleted after that time. However, stories are the exception. They will only stay in the recently deleted items section for 24 hours before being permanently deleted.

Parallel to the introduction of this new Instagram feature, the application announced the introduction of additional measures to protect the content of compromised accounts.
