The Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CESE) recommends the creation of a national agency for health and safety at work. Placed under the chairmanship of the head of government, the new structure would be responsible for the development and implementation of the national policy on health and safety at work, the preparation of draft laws and decrees, etc. The agency should supervise the public and private sectors as well as all branches of economic activity.
