We are seeking several Data Scientists as part of our Cortana Scheduler team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering deep analytical insights to drive business success as well as productizing models to help drive usage growth of our platform.

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include some or all the below:
- Bring your experience to a vibrant team through design review, code review and mentoring while helping the team build an inclusive culture where each individual can do their best work.
- Design, deliver, operate and iterate highly scalable, performant, and secure services with customer trust as a core design principle
- Applying statistical and machine learning techniques to problems like developer engagement, valuable apps, customer/user segmentation/classification to understand usage trends and drivers of satisfactions.
- You will design experiments, analyze results, and produce actionable, trustworthy conclusions from them.
- Present findings and recommendations to key decision makers at various management levels
- Driving data model lifecycle development starting with producing training datasets that reflect the diversity of our users, teaching the model itself on how to mimic the best habits of professional human scheduling assistants and deploying the models to our compliant environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor and above degree in CS, EE, math or equivalent
- Proficient coding in Python, C++, C#, or Java
- Experience in designing, developing and shipping software
- Knowledge of statistics and machine learning algorithms.
- Sufficient verbal and written communication skills in English, especially in technical areas.
- Excellent team player and committed to the success of others.
- Bonus point to familiarity with pytorch or tensorflow.
