– The White House said that US President Joe Biden agreed on close coordination on the North Korean issue in a normal conversation with President Moon Jae-in on the 3rd (local time).
The White House explained in a press release that day, “President Biden emphasized to President Moon Jae-in his promise to strengthen the ROK-US alliance, which is the core axis of peace and prosperity in Northeast Asia.”
“The ROK-US leaders also agreed on the need for immediate restoration of democracy in Burma (Myanmar),” he added.
The call with President Moon took place 14 days after Biden took office. President Biden, who took office on the 20th of last month, has spoken with the leaders of Canada, Mexico, Britain, France, Germany, Russia and Japan.
