Founded in 2018, Revel operates 3,000 electric scooters in New York City and another 5,000 in Miami, Washington, DC, and the San Francisco Bay area.
The company’s expansion to charging stations comes amid renewed efforts in the United States to move to gasoline cars. Officials of General Motors announced last week that they had set a goal of making the vast majority of the company’s vehicles electric by 2035.
