Adela González returns to television after overcoming the most difficult moment of her life – Trending topic

Adela Gonzalez Acuña returns to television more eager than ever, inspired and prepared to be a source of pride for her family. This is the new program that will occupy the afternoons of Telemadrid and which is produced by La Fábrica de la Tele, responsible for Save me, among other formats. It was last summer, when the journalist left us all speechless after telling us about the loss of her 8-year-old daughter Andrea to cancer.

Cable does not doubt that it was the hardest time for her and the whole family, however, with a lot of courage and a lot of strength, she has been able to find the motivation to keep going and, above all, dedicate everything she does to her daughter.

It is a rather peculiar program and everything is that they have to do with where he resides on his set: a newsroom where all the journalists / collaborators who are part of the team work. González Acuña will be the editor-in-chief, starting the new stage in the Madrid autonomous region after several years in ETB, although many viewers will remember her for her time at La Sexta, where she worked on Better Later.

Explaining how everything happened and how she came to know that the channel had opted for her, she has counted: “Óscar Cornejo called me [uno de los dueños de la productora] and he told me what the program was about: a dynamic infoshow on public television with a vocation for public service. They know how to make television attractive and entertainment and information embroider it. Later, they showed me a photo of the set and I already fell at their feet. It is a declaration of intent, because it is brutal. It is a great bet of this house: information, show, entertainment … to keep up to date and not die of boredom ”.

Speaking about the content, González explained how important it is to distract people so that they are not suffering the cravings of the pandemic every day: “The information is going to be there, the Covid also because it cannot be ignored, but we also need a bit of mental hygiene and give ourselves a break to have a laugh.”

As for the rest of the team, Adela will be well accompanied: “So is. It is a great team. And now what we have to do is oil our interactions. They are great professionals of television creativity. I am in good hands. We all have a personal part that adapts to the register in which you are at all times. Now I will show a part that is mine, but that in other programs I have not been able to teach ”.

During his interview with Hello, They asked her how she is outside the cameras in her day to day life and she replied: “I am very calm, because work has almost always absorbed me so much… (sighs) The first thing I think about when I’m done is that I want to remove my makeup (smiles)… and then life. If you touch a beer, well hey… But all this I mean in the pre-covid time, that now things are mainly for work-home and home-work. I like to play sports, but I have abandoned it for a couple of years “.

“I will return to the gym, although well, Telemadrid is very big and we spend the day going up and down stairs, which is like exercising (laughs). I only bring my sports shoes. And then outside of work, I’m very, very familiar. When I am in Bilbao, I have a group of friends and, one of the days of the weekend when the weather allows it, we go up the mountain, eat a sandwich… ”.

Take heart Adela, you will do great!
