Carlos Fernández, the most expensive signing in LaLiga

The first LaLiga team in this classification is Real Sociedad, which spent 10 million on the signing of Andalusian striker Carlos Fernández in the biggest winter operation of the Spanish competition. Thus, the Basques occupy the 16th position and are the only representatives of LaLiga in the top 25. Likewise, the national tournament fell to eighth position in the global ranking of investment in transfers with € 21.2 million.

As an outstanding note, the presence of the Juventus Turin subsidiary is surprising. The Italian team invested a total of 12.5 million euros in various reinforcements: Marley Aké (€ 8 million), Christopher Lungoyi (€ 2.5 million), Emanuele Pecorino (€ 2 million), in addition to the loans Abdoulaye Dabo and Mattia Compagnon.
