With the decrease in the number of travelers, the frequency of the TGV Lille-Paris reduced

Since Monday, three TGVs out of four have been running daily. On Friday, Sunday and Monday, the offer will be further reduced.

Fewer travelers and therefore less TGV. After observing a drop in ridership on the Lille-Paris axis, SNCF decided to reduce its supply of trains to the capital.

Since Monday, only three TGVs out of four have been running between the two cities. On Friday, Sunday and Monday the offer will be reduced even further, with two round trips canceled each day. The connections to Boulogne-sur-Mer, Valenciennes and Dunkirk are maintained at their usual level.

TER on weekends

This decision is the result of a global analysis of train use in the North, and in particular those running after 6 p.m., the time when the curfew comes into effect.

In mid-January, the rail service had been strengthened by the return of a TER line between Paris and Lille, which is active at weekends.
