Linz band Mountain Crew releases song about meeting

LINZ. The Linz band Mountain Crew has released “Lang nimmer gsehn”, a positive song about meeting and long-awaited reunions. The single is dedicated to fans, friends and families of the five musicians.

“It’s already much too late to go ‘home’ early. The first lights can already be seen on the horizon, ”says the song“ Lang nimmer gsehn ”by the Linz band Mountain Crew. Acoustic guitar, accordion and modern sounds meet here. “Lang nimmer gsehn” is a calm and positive song. It was composed and written by the five band members Mister Austria 2016 Philipp Rafetseder (vocals), Christoph Kneidinger (accordion, keyboard, vocals), Laurids Geffke (bass, vocals), Bernhard Schwaiger (drums, vocals) and Reinhard Spindelberger (guitar, vocals) . They had support from the members of “Songbaukasten” from Graz. Lukas Lach is responsible for the production. He already had dance professional Wili Gabalier and “Die Edelseer” with him in the studio.

Band founded in 2009 as Grandmas Chocolate Cake

The Mountain Crew was founded in Linz in 2009 under the name Grandmas Chocolate Cake. At that time, the majority of the founding members went to the BORG Linz school with a focus on music. While the band was initially still in the pop / rock genre, it later moved to German pop, dialect pop, pop hits and new folk music. The name was changed to The Grandmas and in 2019 to Mountain Crew. Since then, the band has not only been known for show and party appearances, but also for releasing their own music. The first single was “Sonnenklar”, followed in 2020 by the first album “Mountain Party # 1” with five own songs and a Wolfgang Petry medley.

Currently the band is still working on new tracks and hopes to be able to perform again soon.
