JOB PURPOSE:
This position is part of the Europe & International S2V Services team within the Sanofi Business Services (SBS) organization.
This position will play a key role in ensuring consistent adoption optimized processes are implemented across the region, define core business process and way of working, harmonize ITS Tool landscape, ensure ERP implementation, simplify user experience at regional level following global frame and guidelines.
The Regional Head will contribute to the strategic design of global S2V & T&E processes & then will be responsible for designing/adherence of processes at regional level, managing deviations, and alignment with relevant support functions. They will be gatekeepers of their processes and work closely together with Sanofi Service line team & Finance Carve In. He/ she will be a key member of governance boards and will define and monitor KPIs glide path to excellence.
The key aspects of the position are:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Support the Process vision, strategy and objectives done at Global
- Set vision, strategy and performance objectives for the end to end process for the region
- Ensure process strategy enables GBU strategy
- Gather and apply best practice to process
- Support benchmarking activities and amend processes to achieve world class processing
- Provide process expertise to Global Delivery Centres and Regions as required and when needed
- Review ITS tool and make proposal to improve, reduce # tools when needed
- Improve user experience to perform their job more efficiently
- Work with BPO provider to ensure business continuity & continues improvement of the operational services provided by external partner
- Define and implement region and local organization & then manage the team:
- Ensure business continuity & delivery of services w/o disruptions
- Ensure performance monitoring, service KPIs and dashboards to measure and improve performance
- Manage team to ensure business continuity
- Develops and implements process harmonization and improvement initiatives for ERP and ITS landscape
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships across regions and drive standardization of processes to identify functional and cross functional improvements and harmonization
- Ensure processes levels 1-5 are fully documented and for levels 6-7 the process is documented where it is meaningful to do so
- Collect improvement ideas from CHC GBU staff to ensure continues improvement of processes in scope
- Develop and oversee roll-out plans for improvements to be implemented
- Ensure appropriate stakeholders’ part of planning and implementation process
- Ensure that Change Management addressed
- Ensure implementation of strategic transformation projects: implementation of S2V & T&E satellite tools, LEAN projects to drive continues improvement, various digital transformation initiative (eInvoicing, Robotic Process Automation etc.)
- Monitors process performance across the organisation
- Define performance metrics for end to end process and silo process
- Reviews process performance and intervenes accordingly
- Identifies performance gaps and launches remedial initiatives
- Communicates with Region management
- Develops and Manages policies and procedures governing processes at the region. Define change in policies and procedures supporting optimized processes
- Ensure Compliance and Internal Control/ SOX standards are met
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong English knowledge
- Strong process knowledge with ability to redefine processes from end to end to support Business needs
- Proven performance history of delivery of procurement processes with a knowledge of current best practices
- ERP experience with SAP, Concur preferred
- Experience in managing P2P operation
- Experience in managing outsourced operation
- Good technical skills
- Effective collaboration skills with peers, stakeholders and partners across the organization
- High level of Interpersonal/ communication skills with an ability to communicate and present at different levels of the organization
- Strong analytical skills to resolve critical issues and ensure programs stay on track
- Strategic thinking and process impact understanding
- Change agent with strong problem-solving skills
- Transversal mindset and ability to work across processes, geographies, languages, cultures, business maturity levels
- Fluency in English mandatory and other European languages are desirable
