“Summer house” money is gone
The Robens are in financial crisis

Last year Caro and Andreas Robens won the RTL show “Das Sommerhaus der Stars”. The dropout couple goes back to Mallorca with 50,000 euros, where they have been living for a good ten years. Now not only is the earned money gone – the Robens are living through real existential fears.
Most recently, Caro and Andreas Robens made headlines with romantic pictures when they renewed their marriage vows in Mallorca in December. There, the one from the Vox program “Goodbye Germany!” well-known bodybuilder couple in 2011 a gym. The last two were seen on the RTL show “Das Sommerhaus der Stars” and won the celebrity couples competition at the beginning of November. The prize money was 50,000 euros, but the Robens have already spent that.
Among other things, Andreas Robens invested part of the money in an eyelid lift in order to look good for the new wedding. Behind the facade, which has been improved in this way, the 54-year-old and his 13-year-old wife are worried about massive financial problems due to the Corona crisis. The two run a fitness studio on Mallorca, but one lockdown follows the next on the Balearic island as well and the Robens break their income. In the meantime, their reserves are as good as used up, as they now report in an interview with “Bild”.
“Costs are the big problem”
“We didn’t spend a cent of our profit privately. We used it to pay our employees their wages and invest in our shops and install air conditioning, because we thought that was the first and last lockdown,” said Andreas Robens in the conversation , and his wife added: “The problem is not so much the non-existent income as the extremely high running costs. Each month costs us at least 7,000 euros, including rent, personnel, electricity, water, alarm systems, telephones, etc. These costs are the big problem! “
“We won’t be able to hold out much longer,” continued Andreas Robens. Caro Robens also explains that money is currently only coming in through filming and a little advertising on Instagram. But the two have not yet given up hope completely. “We are currently in the process of producing online training videos, which we will be offering for sale from March. Special home workouts, basic courses with stretching and advanced courses for the abdomen, thighs, weight reduction, muscle building and buttocks, some especially for women”, concluded the 41-year-old.
