Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? Viewers were delighted that a competitor walked away with £ 125,000 thanks to his phone lifeline a friend on Sunday.
Elementary school teacher Dylan Price, from Margate, wowed audiences at home after leaving the competition with the incredible prize for the last episode of the ITV season.
The avid golfer, who planned to help pay off his parents’ mortgage with his winnings, got £ 125,000 after correctly answering this question: “What famous plane is also known as the Stratofortress? “
Dylan had four answers to choose from, including the Boeing B-52 bomber, the Hawker Hurricane, the Lockheed SR-71 “Blackbird” or the Avro Lancaster bomber.
However, Dylan didn’t know the answer and so used the last of his four lifelines to call his airplane enthusiast friend Michael, who correctly told him to choose the Boeing B-52 bomber.
Dylan then walked away from the competition with his winnings, fearing that he would not be able to successfully answer the next question.
