Leipzig – There are recordings that leave you speechless: A camera team from “stern TV” is shooting in during the “lateral thinking” demo last Saturday Leipzig. With the “stern” team: FDP politician Karoline Preisler (49), who suffered from Corona at the beginning of the year and now wants to talk to the demonstrators. The reactions shown are shocking.

“I had Covid-19 and I’m worried about you,” says Karoline Preisler, who is still suffering from the consequences of her corona disease, on the sign she brought to the demo.
It’s Saturday November 7th. The so-called “lateral thinking” movement had called for a large demonstration in Leipzig. According to the police, more than 20,000 people from all over Germany finally gathered on Augustusplatz (TAG24 reported). Crowded together, very few of them with masks.
The FDP politician approaches a woman and asks her why she thinks she cannot get infected. “I won’t get it. Because my grandpa already had it and he didn’t die either,” she replies. You come from the medical field and know that Corona is only about flu viruses.
Other protesters whom Preisler addresses insist that their immune systems will protect them. However, they think little of the idea of wearing a mask. “And they are all virologists and medical professionals. That shocks me the most,” interjects Preisler.
One looks in vain for reasonable arguments in the “stern TV” contribution.

When the demonstrators try to start their march across the ring, the FDP politician withdraws according to the “star” contribution. The reporters continue to film.
And take on terrifying statements: “The new Infection Protection Act is an enabling law! The last one who did that was Adolf Hitler!” Shouts a demonstrator at the main train station. “That’s the way it is. Exactly the same thing happened to the Jews!” Agrees a woman. You did research on the Internet.
Protesters insult police officers as “pussies” and slogans like “resistance” and “we are the people” are shouted again and again. Then the situation escalates. Ultimately, the emergency services have to withdraw, the demonstrators go on unmolested, in the end celebrate their victory over the police.
For Karoline Preisler, however, it is clear that she wants to come back and demonstrate “until we have a stable democracy back.”
