One of the peculiarities of the Hérault Méditerranée agglomeration community, of which Bessan is a part, is that it works daily with various trades to maintain and enhance the living environment of the twenty municipalities. Thus, the teams of the road cleaning service ensure that public spaces are kept clean.
Their missions consist of cleaning the streets and sidewalks, car parks, squares and public gardens in Bessan as in the nineteen other towns or villages.
To optimize their work, the agglomeration purchases suitable equipment: street vacuum cleaners, sweepers and other equipment ensuring the most efficient cleaning of all roads.
Recently, in conjunction with André Albertos, elected municipal officer in charge of cleanliness, green spaces and vice-president of Sictom, a very special action was taken by the services for the maintenance of the Victor Goudou leisure area, which includes the municipal bowling alley.
Removing pigeon droppings in the city center also occupied a good part of their time.
