Munich / Leipzig – So far it is RB Leipzig only succeeded once, the FC Bayern Munich to beat, but that was at home in the Red Bull Arena. Now the Red Bulls are visiting Munich, where they have never scored a goal. That should be in the Bundesliga top game change this Saturday (6.30 p.m. / Sky)!

It’s THE top game of the first half of the season! The record champions and current leaders (22 points) will receive the runner-up (20 points) from Saxony on matchday 10 in the Allianz Arena in Munich.
So far undefeated at home, the Leipzig team have had a hard time in the past away games.
Most recently it was only enough for a 1-1 draw at Eintracht Frankfurt (TAG24 reported), before the Red Bulls even lost 1-0 in Mönchengladbach (TAG24 reported). Should they win this time, they would overtake Hansi Flick’s (55) team in the table.
Although the goal scoring in the Munich stadium never wanted to succeed (0: 3, 0: 2, 0: 1 and 0: 0), Julian Nagelsmann’s team (33) could climb to the top of the table.
“But that doesn’t mean that we’re on an equal footing with them. It’s not a different club,” said the coach, remaining realistic.
Despite some phases of the Munich team, in which “they may not have been as sharp in certain situations or games as they were last season”, one expects a “physically fresh” record champion who lives up to his “top dog existence at home “wants, so the 33-year-old.

“Do you want to win the top game”
However, one must primarily keep an eye on the Champions League duel against Manchester United next Tuesday and thus reach the round of 16 and “make smart decisions”. This is a must win. On the other hand, you want to win against Bayern, but you don’t have to.
In addition to long-term injuries Lukas Klostermann (24), Konrad Laimer (23) and Benjamin Henrichs (23) have also been captain Marcel Sabitzer (26), Kevin Kampl (30), Nordi Mukiele (23) since the furious 4-3 victory in Istanbul and Dayot Upamecano (22) slightly damaged. Using none of them is impossible, but still a bit questionable.
Christopher Nkunku (23), on the other hand, recently not in Turkey for private reasons, also traveled to Munich on Friday and will definitely be ready for action again.
Although also with striker and Istanbul hero Alexander Sörloth (24) a mission is still on the brink, “it would be nice if he scored a goal again,” said Nagelsmann.

Despite all the circumstances, the RB players have big goals in mind. Keeper Peter Gulacsi (30) recently emphasized: “Generally speaking, one point in Munich is good. But we can overtake Bayern with a win. That is our goal: We want to be the leader of the table after the game.” (TAG24 reported)
“We’ll be brave, we have a brave plan and a brave idea. My boys want to win the top game and will give everything,” confirmed Nagelsmann.
