Led by a Kawhi Leonard at 28 points, the Los Angeles Clippers went on to win 129-115 at the New York Knicks, in a game where they made the difference in the second half.

Sunday in the NBA began with a tantalizing Knicks – Clippers, and the game kept its promises. The logic was respected with the victory of the Californians, second in the Western Conference (16 wins – 5 losses) in New York, ninth in the Eastern Conference (9 wins – 12 losses) on the score of 129-115. The Clippers, deprived of Nicolas Batum, injured in the groin, and Patrick Beverley, waited for the second half to make the difference. The Clippers saw their lead gradually increase to +12 at the end of the third quarter. But the Knicks managed to come back to two points (103-105) with 7’44 from the end, thanks to their excellent rookie Immanuel Quickley, who finished with 25 points. The moment that Los Angeles chose to get angry, with a 9-0 in two minutes. The Knicks failed to close the gap, and they ended up losing fourteen points. If Leonard finished leading scorer for the Clippers, Reggie Jackson was also there, with 18 points, while Paul George scored 17, with an ugly 1 in 8 at three points. On the Knicks side, Julius Randle finished with 27 points (4 of 5 to 3pts). The Clippers will now travel to the Knicks’ neighbors, the Nets, while New York will go to Chicago.
