The Grenelle for education and inclusion through sport organized on Monday February 1

Monday February 1, from 10 a.m., Garges-Lès-Gonesse (Val-d’Oise) is hosting the launch of the Grenelle on education and inclusion through sport.

This Grenelle brings together a collective of mayors who are mobilizing to save sport in working-class neighborhoods. The Île-de-France Region is particularly committed to supporting the sports movement during the health crisis linked to Covid-19 so that it can continue to ensure the continuity of the educational and social mission for which it has the task. Valérie Pécresse, president of the Île-de-France region, will also be present at the launch of this grenelle.

From the start of the crisis, the Île-de-France Region provided emergency aid: “My summer, my region” recovery plan (15M € investment and 10,000 internships), vote of an emergency fund intended to help equestrian clubs in greatest difficulty (150,000 euros paid to the Île-de-France regional riding committee), request for the reopening of physical and sporting activities practiced outdoors .
