LOS ANGELES (AP) – One of the nation’s largest coronavirus vaccination centers temporarily closed Saturday after dozens of protesters blocked access, barring hundreds of motorists who had been lining up for hours, the Los Angeles newspaper reported. Times.
As a precautionary measure, the Los Angeles Fire Department closed the entrance to the vaccination center set up at Dodger Stadium around 2:00 p.m., officials told the newspaper.

“This is totally wrong,” said German Jaquez, who drove from his home in La Verne and had an hour queuing to receive his vaccination by the time the stadium gates were closed. An official indicated that the Fire Department planned to reopen the vaccination center at 3:00 in the afternoon. The place usually operates from 8:00 in the morning to 8:00 at night.
A message spread on social networks described the demonstration as the “PROTEST / MARCH AGAINST TIMOPANDEMIA”.
The message recommended that participants “please refrain from wearing clothing allusive to Trump and Make America Great Again because we want our position to resonate with sheep. No flags but informational banners only.
