PARIS, January 30 (Reuters) – The number of people hospitalized in France with a diagnosis of Covid-19 has reached 27,242, according to the latest data released on Saturday by Santé Publique France.
This number, which has been above the 27,000 mark for five days now, represents an increase of 1,176 patients in 24 hours. The day before, the number of people hospitalized had increased by 1,823.
Santé Publique France added that the number of deaths from the coronavirus in hospital had reached 53,133 people in total since March 1, 2020, or 242 more to be deplored in 24 hours. (Gilles Guillaume)
