The General Administration of Pharmaceutical Inspection in the Directorate of Health in Dakahlia, in cooperation with the anti-drug investigation, managed to seize large quantities of narcotic drugs, and it was directed to tighten control over the drug market.
A campaign was formed from a pharmacist inspection at the Public Administration in conjunction with the Drug Investigation Department in Dakahlia, and a pharmacy was passed through in Mansoura, and the inspection resulted in the following finding 4,205 smuggled tramadol tablets, not registered with the Egyptian Ministry of Health, which are drugs of narcotic jewels in the first schedule attached to the anti-drug law.
1080 Panica capsules, which is a non-billed poison schedule, in addition to 5 classes of the second schedule of toxins without bill.
The Drug Investigation Department has seized the items, edited the necessary records, and took all legal measures regarding these violations.
Makki also stressed that all departments must intensify monitoring campaigns on medical institutions and drug handling outlets, follow up on requirements and controls, and address all kinds of fraud, evasion and illegal trafficking.
This came in accordance with the instructions of Dr. Ayman Mukhtar, Governor of Dakahlia, to tighten control over all health facilities and deter violators.
