A psychological survival game for the Ashwalkers has been announced. Reedus

A new game Ashwalkers from the creator of Life Is Strange has been announced, which will be the debut of the young company Nameless XIII.

The game takes place 200 years after a volcanic cataclysm shook the world, and a group of explorers travels through the disaster-devastated desert to find refuge for their people.

Game promises as many as 34 different endings to be discovered. Each hike will take at least two hours of real time, or even more if you are a supporter of leisurely and thoughtful play. You will have to take care not only of the physical well-being of your researchers, but also of their mental health.

Ashwalkers promises harsh dramas and showdowns between squad members, and the player will have to somehow cope with the consequences – somewhat reminiscent of such classic survival games as This War of Mine, Dead in Vinland or the recent Help Will Come Tomorrow.

Along the way, you will make pit stops in the ruins of the old world, collect supplies and monitor the status of your team. Your group is a motley team of soldiers, scientists and scouts, each with their own goals, all packaged in beautiful narrative form. As relationships form, tension peaks and there is no guarantee that everyone will arrive at their destination.

The game also promises an unusual visual style: the trailer shows us sandstorms, severe showers and terrifying flashes of lightning. It is possible that weather conditions will also affect the mood of your team.

Ashwalkers will come out in demo format next week, ahead of final release in late 2021.
