The Municipal Tourism Authority of Mar del Plata (EMTur) made available to tourists and residents a new tool to discover attractions and places in the city: the traditional audio guides now have a renewed format and, in addition to being stored on the website official, they can be heard for free on any mobile device through the Spotify application.
Federico Scremin, President of the Municipal Tourism Board, explained that “we are proud to present this renewed format of the traditional audio guides, which are nothing more and nothing less than a tool through which tourists and residents can learn about tourist attractions, in the extent to which they go through them at their own pace, whether in a car or on walks ”.
“The remarkable thing is that in addition to being able to know the characteristic attractions of the city, those who listen to them can visit places that have to do with characters from the Mar del Plata culture, such as Ástor Piazzolla or Alfonsina Storni, and also learn more about them”, Scremin finished.
The Mar del Plata Tourism audio guides invite Mar del Plata residents and tourists to immerse themselves in the history of the city, its characters, attractions and curious facts through tours of different durations, some shorter and others longer, depending on the place where be chosen.
The options are many: you can take a walk along the sea, walk through the Old Town or the Ramblas Marplatenses; stroll through El Puerto and its Neighborhood, the Stella Maris Hill and the Traditional Neighborhoods; discover the attractions of the La Perla neighborhood and the North Coast; as well as knowing the Religious Itineraries, the Laguna and Sierra de los Padres, the Beaches of Punta Mogotes and the South; visit museums and learn more about Ástor Piazzolla and Alfonsina Storni.
The advantage of these tours is that they are very easy to use, since in two clicks you can access all the information, both through the Spotify platform (searching as “Tourism Mar del Plata”) and the EMTur website: www.turismomardelplata.gob.ar
