Bird counting operation in the garden
The Bird protection league and the National Museum of Natural History organize on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 January 2021 an operation of garden bird counting.
“You don’t have to be an expert, you just need to have a little time, to enjoy watching what is happening in your garden and to know how to count. Easy ! », Say the organizers.
It suffices to observe the birds for an hour, on Saturday 30 or Sunday 31 January and a one hour slot, ideally in the late morning or early afternoon.
To recognize them more easily, sheets are available on the Observatory website as well as a help sheet for counting. Then, send the data to the Garden Bird Observatory website: oiseauxdesjardins.fr.
