On January 29, 2021, at the Government House, Dr Thaweesil Wissanu Yothin, spokesman for the Center for the Outbreak of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) or FCD, announced the situation of COVID-19 in Thailand. There were 802 new infections found in the country, 781 infected and 21 infected from abroad.
