In the trailer opening for Ryan doesn’t know, Ryan Reynolds carries a chainsaw – a somewhat harrowing sight for those who have seen him from the big screen. “The last thing you should ever give a SAG-certified actor is a chainsaw,” Reynolds says on a computer monitor in the trailer before laughing manically. Reynolds then realizes that he doesn’t know much about the craft. “You could fill a gym with things I don’t know,” he adds. “Hoping to become a less boring husband and father, I meet with talented new artists to learn a little about a lot of new things.”
According to Der Hollywood ReporterOn the show, Reynolds will learn “among other things, ice sculpture with Shintaro Okamoto, VFX tricks with Trevor Bell, lifting with Ulisses World, latte art with Melannie Aquino, flower sculpture with Aurea Molaei and ax throwing with Cliffton Creque”.
In addition to the famous experts helping Reynolds, the show also has another famous connection in Will Smith. Smith’s production company, Westbrook Media, produced the show, which will have 12 episodes that air every other day on Snapchat’s Discover People.
