The number of cases of corona infections with more contagious virus mutants in the Freiburg area is increasing: 37 cases in and around Freiburg have now been confirmed by the health department.
The Freiburg health department confirmed 33 cases in Freiburg and in the Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district on Thursday afternoon. 15 cases are therefore attributable to the Evangelical day care center Immergrn in the Freiburg district of Vauban. A total of 25 corona infections were registered there. The re-typing, in which the presence of a mutation is examined, has not yet been completed for all samples. It is also still open which mutation is involved.
