Marta Quiles’ poetic vein will rank the poetry anthology in homage to the Malvinas Islands, which the teacher and writer Nilda Sena has been patiently working with with the valuable contribution of Marta Vidoni. Although each of the poems selected for the aforementioned publication, soon to be printed by Sade Corrientes, is so valuable and rich, the literary works of Marta Quiles give it a special flight, some are unpublished and others already known.
This was pointed out by the president of the Corrientes writers, Professor Avelino Núñez. In this same sense and as an initiative and request of the head of the local Sade, recently in the Blue House the names of three honorary members were reflected in a mural made by Juan Pablo Duete and Augustina Centurión.
The honorees are the writer from the capital Mario Albino Casco; the poet, writer and journalist Ramón Orlando Mendoza and the actor and theater director Daniel Spataro, the latter two from the city of Goya. In a round of various recognitions, it is also worth saying that the local Sade requested the capital’s Municipality to impose a plaque with the name of Albino Casco in the Library of the Palomar, of the Miter Park of the capital city, by virtue of what establishes an ordinance approved some time ago and it was not yet effective.
With regard to the Poetic Anthology of Malvinas, which is quietly produced in the Library of San Luis del Palmar, created by the writer Nilda Sena, this work has the purpose of presenting it on April 2, so the work carried out would enter into printing press de la Sade in the coming weeks. “An interesting work without a doubt, unpublished in addition, that brings together poetic voices related to such an expensive national feeling, where Corrientes through his children contributed his blood,” the members of the society explained to NORTE de Corrientes.
OTHER BOOKS
Other books to be published soon occupy the attention of the local publisher DD de la Sade. They are: “Poems under the sun in the chapel” and the reissue of “Poesías Azules”, both by Gustavo Ojeda, as well as the reissue of “Tres en la Poesía”, which brings together the literary works of Professor Avelino Núñez, from the poet and writer Rocío Palacios and Gustavo Ojeda himself. Both books are already out of print and are going back to the press for new editions.
Finally, it is worth noting that even in times of pandemic and virtuality, in March these books and others by Corrientes authors will be presented in person in different corners of Riachuelo, with the sole presence of ten neighbors, in accordance with current health regulations.
Thus, poetry and song will be in different corners of the town in March, where Blasco Ibáñez brought the first Valencian families more than a century ago. The cultural action of reference is sponsored by the Municipality and the national deputy – former mayor – Ingrid Jetter.
