Following his abrupt departure from Chelsea, Frank Lampard has started to receive job offers. The English coach has entered the sights of one of Scotland’s leading clubs.

According to SportMediaset, the Celtic Glasgow hopes that the British strategist agrees to lead the Scottish team in replacement of Neil Lennon, the home coach who seems to have lost his chances of claiming the title.

The green box is not having the best season in its history. In the Scottish Premiership he is more than relegated away from fighting for the title, as he occupies second place, but 23 points behind Rangers, leader of the classification. Celtic have only won just eight of 22 matches and none of the last four.

To accept the proposal to direct Celtic Glasgow, Frank Lampard would have to face one of his great friends in the England team, Steven Gerrard, coincidentally coach of Rangers.

Rafa Benítez, who recently left Chinese football, is the other great candidate to replace Neil Lennon on the bench of the Celtic before the season ends.
