Dr. Mohamed Awad Taj El-Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health Affairs, said that Egypt was keen to diversify the sources of obtaining vaccines in accordance with the directions of the President of the Republic.
Tajuddin added, during his statements to the “Public Opinion” program, broadcast on the “Tin” satellite channel, that the President of the World Health Organization warned of the unfair distribution of the vaccine, pointing out that there are 9 countries that received 90% of the vaccines.
He pointed out that there is not sufficient production of vaccines for all countries of the world, just as there is no equitable distribution of vaccines, and that is why Egypt is keen on diversifying the sources of vaccines.
