The 40,000 inhabitants of Gagny, in Seine-Saint-Denis, will soon see municipal police officers patrolling their town. The mayor (LR) Rolin Cranoly signed an agreement with the prefect of the department on Friday, January 22, 2021, to formalize its creation.
This policy will be launched in February next and will be composed of ten officers. It will have a dog team in its ranks. The police will be armed and supported by video protection currently in deployment, explains the town hall. Its main mission: the fight against everyday incivilities, such as traffic violations and illegal dumps.
