COMAYAGUA. _ The community of San José de Pane now has a large and dignified community center, which was built by the municipal mayor of Comayagua.
In this work, an investment of 1.1 million lempiras was made, with own funds from the mayor’s office and a counterpart from the community, in addition, it is a comfortable space, which has all the sanitary requirements to develop social events.
“San José de Pane is a very organized community, they have a strong community structure with which we have worked for more than twenty years.”
“Every year we program projects of common and family interest, this time we carried out the inauguration and delivery of a community center, which was of great need for the inhabitants”,
“Since, due to their organizational nature, they required a large place for their meetings, we are happy to provide them with a dignified and comfortable space with all the sanitary requirements so that they can develop their different social activities,” said Carlos Miranda.
The inhabitants of this community are grateful for the management of Mayor Carlos Miranda, so that this project has been carried out, since they longed for it for many years.
“As inhabitants of this community we feel very satisfied, since we made a great effort in conjunction with the mayor’s office to carry out this project, we appreciate the unconditional support that Carlos Miranda gave us, for the execution of this work, because without his help it would not have been possible to make this dream come true that we have longed for for a long time, ”said José Márquez, president of the Board of Trustees of the San José de Pane community.
Apart from this community center, the Comayagua mayor’s office has built several projects in this community, such as electricity, drinking water, and school classrooms.
In addition, in the coming months the construction of a modern health center with all the appropriate conditions recommended by the Ministry of Health will begin. (SZM)
