Fonroche, which sold its biogas business to Total in mid-January, now relies heavily on solar lighting. An activity in which the company has already been a key player since 2018 and the signing of a contract of 87 million euros for 50,000 candelabras in Senegal.
“The public lighting market weighs 27 billion euros and solar is efficient in 70% of cases. Growth is very strong and an ETI like ours has its place, in particular thanks to the resources provided by the sale of the biogas activity ”, insists Yann Maus, the founder of the company which has experienced spectacular growth.
