Dancing On Ice bosses insist on firing Rufus Hound after commenting on Manchester Arena bombings

Dancing On Ice bosses are urged to sack Rufus Hound from the show after making shocking allegations about the attack on the Manchester Arena.

Survivors of the terrorist attack and MPs have spoken out against the comedian taking part in the ITV series.

The 41-year-old had previously commented on Twitter that Prime Minister Theresa May was behind the brutal tragedy to help the Conservatives win the current parliamentary elections.

The star shared a tweet from a Twitter user that read: “With the attacker known to MI5, the timing seems lucky for May that an attack” slips “while Labor moves forward”.

The panel program regularly added its own comment to the message: “Sorry for the slight thinness, but I thought the same. Esp. “Since she has been Minister of Interior for so long.”

He then referred to the “Reichstag Fire” as an indication that there was an agreement with the Reichstag Fire in 1933, which was allegedly staged to increase Hitler’s power in Germany.

Although Rufus deleted the comments shortly afterwards, his comments were recently mentioned again on Twitter.

MP Rob Halfon told The Sun on Sunday: “It’s awful. These trivial remarks are deeply offensive to the victims of the attack on Manchester. ”

While Co-MP Alec Shelbrooke says, “ITV has a moral responsibility and it is time for them to lead contestants who spew conspiracy theories and use family shows as political platforms.”

Meanwhile, Jade Clough, who was thrown 10 feet into the air and hit by a splinter during the attack, also spoke out against Rufus.

She said, ‘This is outrageous. I can’t believe anyone would think that way. I saw him regularly on Celebrity Juice and had no idea he was like that.

“He’s in the spotlight and a lot of people look up to him.

“When a celebrity says things like this, other people will think it’s okay to do the same.”

Despite winning the gold ticket last weekend, Rufus had to retire from the show on Sunday evening after coming into contact with someone with the coronavirus.

He will have to miss the ITV show this week, where he would be in group dance because he was forced to stay home for ten days.

It’s not known if the star, who is currently skating with Robin Johnstone, will be allowed to return, but the show has expressed hope that he’ll make a comeback by then.
