PARIS, Jan. 25 (Reuters) – Stocks to watch Monday on the Paris Stock Exchange and in Europe, where futures are signaling a moderate upward opening:
* SUEZ SEVI.PA announced Monday that it had exceeded its objectives in the second half of 2020, thanks in particular to its cost reductions, and indicated that it was thus on the path of its strategic plan for 2021 and 2022.
* VIVENDI VIV.PA / PRISA PRS.MC – Vivendi announced on Monday that it had increased its stake in Prisa to 9.9%, three days after acquiring 7.6% of the capital of the Spanish media group, owner of the daily El Pais.
* ASTRAZENECA AZN.L said on Friday that its first shipments of COVID-19 vaccines to the European Union would be lower than the volumes agreed with Brussels due to a production issue.
* BIONTECH 22UAy.DE – Australia on Monday approved the use of the vaccine from Pfizer and BioNTech while warning that production problems faced by AstraZeneca could lead it to distribute a locally produced vaccine earlier than planned.
* AIRBUS AIR.PA announced on Sunday that around 500 of its employees had been placed in quarantine after the discovery of 21 positive cases for the new coronavirus at its factory in Hamburg. He said he was examining the consequences of this measure on the site’s production.
