On his Twitter account, the former president wished him a speedy and satisfactory recovery.

Before, also the former president Felipe Calderon I wish a speedy recovery to the federal Executive.

This Sunday López Obrador reported that he tested positive for Covid-19 and that he has mild symptoms.
On Twitter, the president indicated that he is already undergoing medical treatment.
The head of the federal Executive indicated that it will be Olga Sánchez Cordero, Secretary of the Interior (Segob) who will be at the press conferences at the National Palace.
He stated that he is optimistic and will move forward.
I regret to inform you that I am infected with COVID-19. The symptoms are mild but I am already under medical treatment. As always, I am optimistic. We will all move forward. Dr. Olga Sánchez Cordero will represent me in the morning to report how we do it every day.
