COVID-19 :
Patients who were admitted to the Valencia field hospital they were transferred this Sunday to the old hospital of La Fe it is the consequence of strong gusts of wind which occurred in the city and which caused the patients various inconveniences, including cold and loud noises.
The Ministry of Health reported in a statement that the 20 patients admitted to the field hospital were relocated throughout this Sunday to the premises of the Nursing School of the former Campanar center, and they will come back “as soon as the weather conditions improve”.
The health authorities of the Valencian Community have specified that this transfer was decided to increase patient comfort, who will return to their location when possible, the field hospital shows no damage. However, Health adds that a detailed review of the center will be carried out.
Temporary measure
“The transfer was made out of prudence and is preventive and temporary in nature”, explains in its press release the regional secretary of health efficiency and technology, Concha Andrés. Similarly, the Ministry of Health specifies that the The field hospitals of Castellón and Alicante continue to operate normally and accommodation of patients in optimal conditions.
