Meanwhile, the company still has not decided on the actual date of the start of sales of the junior Ampere gaming card (or is not ready to announce) – in this case it sounds lengthy “End of February”.
Recall that this time NVIDIA decided not to release a reference design for the junior Ampere series video card. Instead, the manufacturer entrusted all the worries for the implementation of the novelty to its partners. Nevertheless, the “green” announced the recommended cost of the GeForce RTX 3060, which is $ 329. For Russian retail, the price is stated at 31,800 rubles.
As a rule, non-standard versions of graphics accelerators equipped with proprietary cooling systems have a higher cost relative to their reference versions. It is curious that, according to VideoCardz, NVIDIA Recommended Retailers “Include in the initial assortment of offers” version of the GeForce RTX 3060 at the stated recommended cost. In other words, there is a possibility that at the start of sales, some versions of the GeForce RTX 3060 will be sold for $ 329.
