Mayah Aziz is a Brazilian baby girl born with a unique and beautiful feature that most of us have probably never seen: a white strand in her hair. The adorable little girl gave doctors and nurses a pleasant surprise when she was born. However, her mother Talyta was not surprised at all.

Publicity
And for good reason, this genetic disease called piebaldism is very widespread in her family and she herself suffers from it. Shortly after her birth, Talyta started sharing photos of Mayah on social media and many people are already adoring her hair. In order to show as many people as possible that a difference is a strength and an additional asset, the two decided to pose together to make a series of photos by putting themselves in the shoes of characters with the same type of hair, at the like Cruella from 101 Dalmatians or Rogue from X-Men. And the photos are just awesome.
When the difference becomes a force
By pushing her daughter to clearly assume her two-tone hair and the presence of that white strand, Talyta hopes that Mayah will never be self-conscious about her, as she learned to do only early in her life as a young woman. Indeed, when she was a child and a teenager, she suffered a lot of bullying because of her appearance and spent that entire period hiding behind clothes and makeup. It wasn’t until her early 20s that she realized she was unique and that her hair ultimately made her special.

“Ever since Mayah was born, she creates a wave of love everywhere she goes. Today, the same characteristic that made me suffer causes tenderness and that’s good. What also makes me happy with everything that happens is that she manages to share love, tenderness, and show that being different is cool. Mayah is growing up learning to respect people and I try to teach her to be a person of values. It is my mission as a mother ” Talyta said at Bored Panda.
