“Capabilities do not depend on gender”, is the phrase that reads on the feminist mural that adorns the entrance of the Concepción sports center in Madrid. In an act to satisfy the extreme right, the City Council of the capital has decided to erase it, taking with it the illustrious women who appear in it, such as Frida Khalo or Valentina Tereshkova.
Criticism of this decision has not been long in coming and Twitter has been filled with hundreds of people questioning the decision of the Madrid Executive and supporting the continuity of the mural entitled Union make force.

The proposal is loaded with political intentions, because I doubt that there have been neighborhood complaints. Their intention is to erase the remains of 15M, of neighborhood actions and any reference to what smells of feminism, because it hurts them politically. It is not something for the neighbors.
