In 1980 Alejandro Galvis Ramírez came to The universal. With him began a modern stage, derived from his knowledge and experience in modern journalism. Alejandro, a human being in the broadest sense of the term, began modernization with Fabio Morón Díaz, Héctor Hernández Ayazo and Gonzalo Zúñiga. They had traveled to Bucaramanga to propose the union of The universal and Liberal Vanguard; Alejandro accepted with pleasure. Galvis Ramírez assumed the presidency of the Board of Directors, managed to quickly place it in new economic possibilities; promoted the entry of new shareholders: Araújo Perdomo, Procar and Baladi SEC

Deliver this message of appreciation to Dr. Alejandro Galvis Ramírez as a testimony of appreciation for his work. Ask Alejandro Galvis Ramírez that this retirement status does not inhibit him from his permanent contact with The universal.
