In my podcast Devanee, I received one of the founders of the Cotton club, which is an entertainment program that brings together personalities whose backgrounds are exemplary in the Black community of France.
Why ? The need to value all the diversity of our community, to represent it beyond folklore and the usual clichés. In other words, making ourselves visible for good reasons, and not for our looks or where we come from.
1 presenter, 3 Afro-descendant guests, meet in a friendly context, around a dinner and tell each other through the themes and questions addressed.
Devanee explains during this interview where he got the idea to set up this project with his childhood friend. I personally loved the concept of their youtube shows and all the things that we can learn from the different exchanges in the discussions.
