So far, the weekend on Friday, July 23rd and Saturday, July 24th has been scheduled. “We’re not quite sure who is playing which film, but the shortlist includes“ Phantom of the Opera ”accompanied by Frieder Gundert,“ Goldrausch ”accompanied by Hans-Jörg Lund,“ The Kid ”and“ Lights of the Big City ” by Manfred Aeugle and a cult film with Buster Keaton – whose accompaniment is still unknown. A well-known pianist from Baden-Württemberg is being asked, ”write the cinema makers, who also call on film fans to come up with further suggestions for the silent film event. Further silent film evenings are also planned, subject to the Corona situation: on March 24th with “Dick & Doof”, on May 22nd with “Nosferatu” and on June 19th with “Der Zirkus”.
