Reopening of community centers begins

Ciudad Juárez.- The councilors that make up the Community Centers Commission held a meeting to supervise the reactivation of activities in the 48 spaces administered by the Municipal Government.

In a statement it was reported that there is a lot of demand from the population that requires the services and programs offered by the Municipality through these public spaces, therefore, the agency’s staff is already serving them.

The reopening scheme and the coronavirus prevention protocols that will continue to be addressed are also analyzed.

During the contingency, the community centers of Puerto La Paz, Olivia Espinoza, Kilometer 27 and Palo Chino never stopped operating, as they were providing the community with medical care to carry out studies for the detection of breast cancer.

However, the agency has already reactivated the services of 12 doctors and dentists for the centers that offer these services, in addition, the workshops to promote self-employment will soon resume but with a maximum capacity of 10 people in each.

The Mobile Units were reactivated last Tuesday serving various areas of the southeast of the city through the delivery of glasses, dental consultation and care for women, as well as the Doctor at your Door program, among others.

In the next few days, a visit will be made to the Zaragoza community center, to supervise the fulfillment of agreements for the creation of infrastructure for people with disabilities.
