The covid-19 will have forced the Greater Lyon (Rhône) totally reinvented the Reading night in partnership with the Ministry of Culture.
This year, most events on the theme “Rereading the World” will take place online of Thursday 21 to Sunday 24 January 2021.
Operation “one author, one library”
Next to Lyon BD, the Lyon metropolis is launching the “one author, one library” operation.
An original creation will be produced by a comic strip author in each participating library.
Meetings and workshops in small groups are organized around this achievement.
BD Battle Saturday January 23
The highlight of the Reading Nights is scheduled for Saturday 23 January. From 6 p.m., artists and designers will compete live, freehand and without reflection in the context of a “comic strip battle”.
Broadcast live on Twitch and Facebook, viewers will be able to comment and rate the authors’ performances.
They can also suggest challenges and vote for their favorite comic book.
