Comedian Park Hwi-soon (43, photo) confessed to her father’s fight against dementia.
Park Hwi-soon appeared in EBS1’s’Life Story’, broadcast on the 21st.
In the broadcast that day, Park Hwi-soon heard the story of a woman that her mother-in-law and her mother-in-law suffered from dementia, and said, “It’s not like everyone else’s. My father was also diagnosed with dementia in the spring of 2019.”
He continued, “I didn’t tell you that my father was sick because he would worry about my son,” he said. “When I went down to my parents’ house, my father was hospitalized. He doesn’t have a lot of energy, and he doesn’t know where this is. I wanted to cry in my heart, but I didn’t want to show that in front of my father, so I put up with it.”
When MC Lee Jae-yong, who heard this, asked, “What does your wife think of her father-in-law’s dementia?” Park Hwi-soon said, “My wife believes that her father will be able to find health again and does not take it seriously. I think and treat it as the same as other ordinary father-in-law.”
Meanwhile, Park Hwi-soon married Cheon Ye-ji, 17 years younger last year. The two have revealed their newlywed life in TV Chosun entertainment show’The Taste of Wife’.
