Hemnath Ravi said in a phone conversation that he had questioned her for dancing with her classmate just before committing suicide at a luxury hotel in Nazareth on December 9 and that the angry actress had locked the door in the bathroom and never thought the picture would be harsh.
The film’s friend Syed Rohit also came forward with serious allegations against Hemnath. Syed Rohit has revealed that he witnessed the physical abuse of Hemnath Ravi in the film. Prior to this, Hemnath had clashed with the film over acting with his co-stars. Syed Rohit revealed to the media that the film had been subjected to mental torture by Homnath even at the serial shooting location. Chitra was a woman who behaved very politely. However, Syed Rohit said that she was not happy with her life with Uhmnath and was constantly harassed.
Police had received information that Hemnath had got into an argument after getting drunk at the serial shooting location. When informed about this, the mother of the film had forced the actress to marry someone other than Hemnath. But after the engagement, the couple registered the marriage without informing the family. Preparations were also made for the wedding in February. Meanwhile, Hemnath’s quarrel and his mother’s forced him to leave the marriage put pressure on the film.
Police had earlier found that there was an altercation between Chithra and Hemnath, who arrived at the hotel around 2 am on December 9, after the shooting of the TV serial Pandyan Stores aired on Vijay TV. Hemnath was arrested on December 15 on a charge of inciting suicide on the basis of an audio clip recovered from the film’s mobile phone.
The phone conversation between Chitra and Homnath’s father was crucial. The national media had reported that it was clear in the audio clip that Chitra was telling Hemnath’s father that Hemnath was constantly opposed to acting alongside the actors in Pandyan Stores. The arrest came after cyber police recovered an audio clip deleted by Homnath from the film’s phone.
